Coutade 11

We first visited the Zambezi Coutades to bird in 2015 and for the last five years (2015-2019) have spent time there over the November/ December period with friends birding.

The area has made a huge impression on us and we have enjoyed each visit as if it were our first.

Mark Haldane of Zambeze Delta Safaris has suggested spending time in Coutade 11 over the November early December period guiding clients on the birding front which we are going to do commencing November 2019.

We believe one needs to spend five nights in camp to cover the area and to do the incredible birding and game viewing justice.

The logistics of getting to the Mungari Camp in Coutade 11 entails flying from Johannesburg to Beira with Airlink, who operate a daily flight and then from Beira to Camp on a Safari Air Charter flight which takes approximately fifty minutes.

Accommodation is in double en-suite safari tents which are fully serviced and laundry is done on a daily basis.
